Frequently Asked Questions
How much are your cookies?
There are 3 pricing tiers for custom cookies. Please refer to the pricing tab at the top of this page.

How do your cookies come packaged?
Cookies are individually bagged and sealed, then lovingly placed on top of kraft paper shred inside of a window bakery box. Tags, ribbons, bows and any other decorative items are available for an additional price and will be reflected on your invoice. If possible, please include this request in your quote request.

How far in advance should I order?

It’s never too early to book your order! But, I do require at least 2 weeks advance notice. A rush order fee of $50 will apply to any order placed with less than 14 days notice and payment is due in full at time of order.

How do I place and order? Do you require a deposit?
Please submit all custom order requests through the contact form on my website. Click on the "Custom Order Request" tab at the top of the page. Once you send a request and we agree upon availability, quantity, pricing and pickup, I will email you an invoice. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required within two days of receiving the invoice and full payment is required upon pick up. Your order is not on my calendar until your deposit is paid.

What type of cookies can you design?
I can "cookiefy" anything!! Generally, I create designs based on the information you provide me. The more details, the better! (i.e. favorite colors, themes, names, characters, etc.)It also helps to send me invitations or party decor so I can match the cookies cohesively. Inspiration photos are welcomed and encouraged. As with any custom order, the final product will vary in shape, size and color from original inspiration.

How do I store my cookies until my party?

Please do not place cookies in the refrigerator. Keep your creations in their heat sealed bags and they will be just fine stored at room temp. Cookies are enjoyed best within 2 weeks.

What if I have left overs or need to store for a later date?

Cookies freeze wonderfully! If you need to preserve your freshness for a little longer or want the max softness, please following the freezing instructions below.

Freezing Instructions:

-
Remove cookies from bakers box (keep them sealed in their bags!)
-
Place cookies in a large air tight container.
-
When stacking cookies, place like dominos with fronts facing fronts and backs facing backs.
-
Place lid on the container in the freezer
-
Move the container as little as possible to avoid the cookies being shaken. These are delicate works of arts.
-
When you are ready to serve, remove the container from freezer at least 12 hours prior.
-
Allow the container to fully defrost before opening the lid.
-
Enjoy!

Where are you located? Do you deliver?

Cookies will be available for pickup at a pre-arranged time at my home in Bellbrook, Ohio. The address will be provided on your invoice. No contact pick-ups can be arranged. Delivery will also be considered at extra charge.

Do you ship?
According to Ohio Cottage Food Law, I am unable to ship cookies. Cookies are made in a home kitchen that has not been inspected. If you would like to ship the cookies yourself, I can show you how to package the cookies. I do not assume responsibility for shipping or broken cookies once they leave my home.

What is your baking process?
All cookies are made in a Cottage Food home kitchen. Consumers are to be aware that the cookies produced in this kitchen are made with food allergens including but not limited to dairy, nuts, eggs and gluten. We cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination with other food allergens.

What if I need to cancel my order?

Deposits are non-refundable. This is because I block out time on my schedule for your cookies. If you cancel, I have lost the opportunity to book with another client. Transfer of deposits can be considered on a case by case basis.
